University Coffee House

UNIVERSITY COFFEE

"Serving Nacogdoches and it’s travelers."

MISSION STATEMENT

University Coffee House is an outreach ministry of University Baptist Church designed to be a physical embodiment of the heart and character of God to its staff, customers, the people of Nacogdoches, and ultimately the world. We believe UCH has been uniquely created to display God’s heart of blessing, hospitality, and excellence.

BLESSING

We want to be a resource and a blessing to our community, staff, and the world. In all, we do we want to serve our staff and others by partnering with God to meet their Spiritual and Physical needs. We have been so blessed to know God and be known by God. He keeps His promises to us daily and cares for us in abundant measures. He is a God who gives and a God who serves. He sees our needs and meets them in ways that we cannot imagine. We want to be a reflection of this extravagant love, giving, and service to our community.

HOSPITALITY

In embodying the spirit of hospitality we want to be welcoming to all through appearance, interaction, and service. The design of the coffee shop, the cups we serve coffee with, and the interaction that we have with customers should all reflect a warm and welcoming environment. Our goal is to build an environment where their names are known and where they receive refuge and rest from the world. Through this environment, we hope that people can let their guard down, build relationships, and ultimately see that God longs to know them and offer them rest. We want to be a blessing and a service to our staff, customers, and community

EXCELLENCE

We want to be excellent in all things. Everything that God does He does well. We want to go the extra mile to offer excellent work as well. What we present to our staff, customers, and community we want to reflect the nature of God. That means we want all initiatives and products to be done well. No shortcuts and not done halfway. We want to do a quality job with an excellent attitude and attention for our time here at UCH.
